Dean Commercial Carpet Tile – Assorted Colors
I am very interested after set Dean Commercial Carpet Tile - Assorted Colors on my office floor for two years. Its looks outstanding, lovely fabric, excellent quality made that feel a walker like a soft move like on green grass field! The tiles self by self that takes a little time. One day, my wife comes to my office and look out that. Later she orders 200 20 square feet commercial carpet tiles for home and dining. Have had the tiles installed and am very happy with the way they look. We didn't match seams, did more of a patchwork pattern on my screened porch, and I think it looks great. It seems that each "pack" of however many sq ft you buy is hand-selected to be matching in terms of pile depth and type mostly. I bought 200-sqft initially and had to get another 60; patterns in the second shipment were different, and some pile depths were off. There was one "outdoor" tile that I couldn't use. So, get as much as you need upfront all in one shipment.
- Organize the tiles by a pattern first, so you can intentionally lay them down in a varying pattern and not have splotches of similar designs.
- Did a 50% offset (see pics) and it looks fantastic.
- These are easy to cut with a utility knife. Cut from the rubber back.
Had to cut a few to fit the area but we love them. You can't go wrong with these carpet tiles and well worth every penny. I can't express enough how glad I am I ordered these and thankful for this company offering these tiles at a reasonable price. I'm now going to order more packs to cover two more bedrooms, and we're already thinking about our Livingroom after that.

Drawbacks:
I’ve never written a bad review. I bought the Carpet squares for my Daycare thinking the colorful pattern would be fun! All I got was greys and browns, and the carpet is fragile

Question: Do the carpet squares have a thick black rubber pad on the underside?
Answer: Yes, the carpet tiles have rubber padding on the back. We laid them on concrete in the basement. I would not say it is cushiony, but there is rubber padding on the back. It is okay for a family/exercise/multipurpose room in the basement. Hope that helps!
Question: Can these install over carpet padding?
Answer: II don't know about that, because you would not be installing one large remnant of carpet, instead of laying squares that would float on the padding. These carpet squares are excellent when used on cement floors. Or in your case wood floors. The industrial quality is very dense with rubber padding on each square.
